APS5 Contract Supervisor

The right person will manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes for a Federal Government Client. The role is fast paced and requires strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, be able to work autonomously, with little supervision and prioritise their tasks. The candidate must also demonstrate strong and confident communication skills, both written and verbal with experience and comfort to engage internal and external stakeholders.

As the Randstad onsite supervisor, your duties will include:

• HR support to a large and diverse Team of Labour Hire Contractors onsite and small remote team in Fremantle
• Addressing routine to moderately complex enquiries from internal leadership and contractor workforce
• Undertake the HR labour hire recruitment role, supporting the Agency with the centralised recruitment including interviews of potential candidates
• Induction and on-boarding new labour hire staff
• Arrange and conduct formal meetings for ceasing of assignments with labour hire staff
• Conduct Productivity Improvement Plans and reviews for various labour hire contractors on behalf of the Agency
• Develop and manage effective relationships with Randstad, labour hire contractors and internal Agency staff members in order to achieve business objectives.
• Support an environment that encourages a willingness to adopt participative workplace practices in line with policies of WHS, Workplace Diversity and the Australian Public Services Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct

Your Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience and a strong and demonstrated understanding in the following areas:

• Previous experience in a labour hire recruitment and management, either in the public service or a recruitment agency with contingent recruitment experience in government
• Previous experience with leading and support a large and diverse team
• High level of interpersonal skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.
• Reliable and adaptable to respond to changes in workloads and priorities.
• MUST be an Australian citizen to be eligible
• Ability to undertake a Baseline Security Clearance
